Wacker Neuson at the MAWEV Show 2024

11. April 2024, 14:04

From April 10 to 13, Austria's largest construction machinery trade fair MAWEV Show will once again take place in St. Pölten - but it is not only the trade fair that makes 2024 a special year for Wacker Neuson in Austria, as the sales organization is celebrating its 60th anniversary.

From April 10 to 13, Austria's largest construction machinery trade fair MAWEV Show will once again take place in St. Pölten - but it is not only the trade fair that makes 2024 a special year for Wacker Neuson in Austria, as the sales organization is celebrating its 60th anniversary. Johann Christian Wacker laid the foundations for Wacker Neuson's success story back in 1848, when he founded a blacksmith's workshop in Dresden. Since then, the company has produced innovations that have repeatedly revolutionized work on construction sites and ensured greater safety and efficiency. The focus has always been on customer proximity. "We are proud to have been inspiring our customers in Austria with innovative products and reliable service for 60 years," says Christian Chudoba, Managing Director of Wacker Neuson Austria. "Also at this year's MAWEV Show: From the very first day, we were delighted with the large number of visitors and lots of great discussions and sales successes. The intense exchange, especially about our zero emission portfolio, confirms our approach of always focusing on the customer's needs and continuing to work on a future-proof construction site. Highlights for us and our customers are also the innovations from our production plant in Hörsching near Linz, the DV125 dual view dumper and the EW100 wheeled excavator, both of which were extremely well regarded by our customers."

Visitors can experience Wacker Neuson's construction machinery and equipment live on a total of 2,500 square meters in the outdoor area West at booth B10. The daily demo shows will show many of the machines in action.

Dual View Dumper DV125 - For high material handling

The new DV125 will be presented to the trade public for the first time at the MAWEV Show. The DV125 extends the Dual View dumper model range upwards and, with a payload of up to 12,500 kg, is ideally suited for applications with high material handling. The DV125 is equipped with skip and tilt monitoring, skip grid, hillhold function, laminated safety glass and many other safety features, many of which come as standard. The compact design and the Dual View operating concept with the 180-degree rotating control console allow unrestricted visibility when driving, maneuvering, loading and unloading - a major advantage, especially in confined working environments.

EW100: a new era of wheeled excavators

The Wacker Neuson EW100 wheeled excavator is unique in its class. When developing the machine, the focus was on construction site 4.0: intelligent attachment management, a well thought-out human-machine interface and preparation for various assistance systems and interfaces are just a few examples. Thanks to the powerful travel hydraulics and the high basic working performance, the machine can also be used for tasks that would otherwise require the use of a 14-ton excavator.

zero emission innovations

Almost the entire zero emission portfolio will be presented at the MAWEV Show, which includes excavators, dumpers, wheel loaders and telescopic handlers, various construction equipment and a "charging box" as a mobile power source. The new Kramer 5065e electric wheel loader and the 1445e electric telescopic handler are among the zero emission highlights on the stand. Thanks to its compact design of less than two by two meters, the all-electric telehandler enables work in confined spaces without local exhaust emissions, for example when used in underground garages or warehouses. Another highlight is the reversible battery plate with direct drive APU3050e. The DireX direct drive developed by Wacker Neuson does not require a V-belt and thus ensures power transmission without transmission and friction losses and therefore a longer service life. The battery plate is powered by the robust Battery One battery, which is used in all battery-powered construction equipment from Wacker Neuson - but also from other manufacturers.
