Performance is more than just machine power. With the new EW135 wheeled excavator, Wacker Neuson is introducing a new product that combines high performance with superior operator comfort and modern safety features. The result is more productive workflows, precision, and an efficient construction site.

  • EW135 Wheeled Excavator: The next generation of wheeled excavators featuring a fixed boom system, intelligent hydraulics, MiC technology, and preparations for assistance systems to support versatile attachment applications.

“Our customers expect high-performance machines that ensure productivity, ease of operation, and safety in equal measure,” says Fred Cordes, Managing Director of Wacker Neuson Sales Germany and responsible for direct sales markets in Europe. “That’s why we’ve consistently focused our product development on supporting the operator with intelligent assistance systems while delivering reliable performance for a wide variety of applications. With these new innovations, we’re helping our customers operate their construction sites efficiently, prepare for future requirements, and overcome current challenges together with a reliable partner.”

Precision Performance: The New EW135 Wheeled Excavator

With the new EW135, Wacker Neuson is further expanding its position in the wheeled excavator segment—the company is already the market leader in wheeled excavators up to 10 tons. The EW135 now brings this expertise to the next performance range and has been systematically configured for high lifting forces, digitalization, and the professional application of modern attachments to ensure maximum flexibility. To achieve this, it features a permanently mounted articulated boom without a swing console. This reduces power loss, increases the machine’s stability, and enables significantly higher lifting forces.

Intelligent hydraulics, MiC 4.0 technology, and the seamless integration of modern attachments lay the foundation for precise workflows and versatile application areas on the construction site. At the same time, modern technologies support the operator by providing greater visibility, control, and ease of operation. The electrohydraulic pilot control system enables particularly precise and controlled machine movements and can be flexibly adapted to different applications using individually storable operator and attachment profiles.

When it comes to safety, the EW135 wheeled excavator also offers comprehensive support. Active Working Signal (AWS), auto Brake, the advanced overload warning system with a 10-inch Human Machine Interface (HMI), side and rear-view cameras, and 360° visability help the operator identify potential hazards early on. The safety concept is complemented by LED work lights, access steps in high-visibility colors, and the machine’s high stability.
With driving speeds of up to 35 km/h, high mobility, and versatile application areas, the EW135 combines the performance of a machine designed for demanding applications with the flexibility of modern wheeled excavators. The result is a machine that unites power, precision, and digital future readiness in a single, integrated concept.
